          Jalapeño Seasoning

Ditch the old salt and pepper for your fries and try out this lip-smacking seasoning instead!

          Ingredient

          Weight

          Measure

          Jalapeño peppers, fresh

          800 grams

          Salt

          1 cup

          Preparation Instructions:

          Step 1

          Preheat oven to 65˚c.

Use gloves and cut Jalapeño peppers into uniform, medium-small pieces.

          Step 2

Spread the peppers evenly on a lined baking tray place in oven. Make sure to leave the door slightly open to allow moisture to escape. Check every 30 minutes and rotate the peppers. It can take up to 1-2 hours for them to fully dehydrate and become brittle.

          Step 3

Remove dried peppers and place them in a food processor or blender. Add the salt and grind them together until the peppers are broken down and evenly mixed with the salt.

          Step 4

Store in an airtight container. Season your favorite fries for a delicious kick!
