Katsu Curry Loaded Chips

A beloved Japanese comfort dish, a perfect balance of crunch and warmth.
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Sauté onion and garlic in oil. Stir in curry powder and flour. Add chicken broth, soy sauce, ketchup and worcestershire and stir. Simmer until thickened.
Step 2
Season chicken. Whisk egg and water together in a dish. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, egg wash and panko. Fry until golden and crisp, slice into strips
Step 3
Prepare fries according to package instructions and season lightly with salt.
Step 4
Place hot chips on a serving dish and add sliced chicken. Spoon curry sauce over fries and chicken. Garnish with green onions and pickled ginger if desired.
