Turn up the heat with this "Gem" of a recipe. It's hearty, just the right amount of spicy, and totally crave-worthy for a hungry lunch crowd.
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Preheat convection oven to 400° F.
Step 2
Spread frozen Tater Gems® in a single layer on sheet pans. Bake in convection oven at 400° F for 20-25 minutes until golden and crisp.
Step 3
To prepare hot sauce, use a whisk to combine butter, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, granulated garlic, paprika, black pepper and salt in a saucepan over medium low heat. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently. Keep warm while chicken cooks.
Step 4
Place thawed pulled chicken in a 2-inch deep steamtable pan sprayed with pan release. Cover and cook in convection oven at 400° F for for 12-15 minutes or until heated through.
Step 5
Add the warm sauce to the chicken, and toss with a spatula until chicken is coated.
Step 6
To serve, place 8 cooked Tater Gems® into each boat or tray. Top with #12 disher of chicken and drizzle with 1/2 Tbsp. ranch dressing. Serve with 4 pickle chips portioned in 2 oz. cups.
