This is a deep-fried seaweed dish made with seafood that goes perfectly with avocado, and cheese is added for richness. Enjoy it with a sweet Japanese sake.
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Thaw the avocado according to package directions.
Step 2
Heat oil to 180 degrees.
Step 3
Mix diced avocado, green laver, and grated cheese in a bowl.
Step 4
Drop dollops of avocado mixture in tempura batter and fry in 180 degree oil for 1 minute.
Step 5
Arranging fried avocado on a serving dish and sprinkle with bonito salt, powdered cheese, and bonito flakes to serve.
